{Momentous Monday} A 21st Birthday with an Exciting Twirl

Oh, birthdays. They are the best, especially
when celebrated with family and friends and marking such a milestone!

Jillian's brother Jaycee was turning 21 and of course,
that meant BIRTHDAY BASH for the Birthday Boy!

But, it was a surprise (as some of the best birthday parties can be!).
Surprise Birthday Bash!
Jillian designed around the delightfully playful theme of "Manly Mustache", and went all out using a gray chevron pattern and, of course, a mustache, paired with a dashing bow tie.

Cake and Cupcakes!
Scrumptious designs by My Little Cupcake Bakery!
What birthday is complete with out cake and a few cupcakes!

Oh! To turn 21 every year!

Here's the Birthday Boy, now!
Happy Birthday, JC!

More Mustache Madness!
Jillian and Azi, sporting some very winsome mustaches!

And some sweet sendoffs...
Favors!

...and tempting treats!
Fetching favors, shots of chocolate candies and kisses!

Such a great way to welcome JC back from his 21st trip around the sun!

Happy Birthday!
Enjoying a well-deserved strawberry daiquiri, woo hoo :)

{Wedding Wednesday} An Elegant, but Playful Wedding

We have a very special treat to share with you this Wedding Wednesday! These simply beautiful designs by Jillian for a fall wedding in Malibu.

The envelope was classic, in pearlized paper and elegant calligraphy...
Lovely Invitation

... and was perfectly paired with this playful, yet absolutely stunning invitation.
Those silk flowers. Love!
The black and white theme with the floral motif was just the right blend of feminine and masculine.

The rest of the invitation suite was just as chic.
The pearl details on this RSVP card so beautifully tie into the pearlized outer envelope, and are just the perfect touch!

Wedding details card. So pretty!
I love the refined details of the classic invitation juxtaposed with subtle and modern twists.

Congratulations Tiffany and Richard! We wish you all the very best of wedded bliss!

National Stationery Show

It's May, and that means the National Stationery Show in New York City! We had the wonderful opportunity to visit, in the hopes of finding a little papery inspiration. And boy, were we rewarded! What a treat of color, pattern, and fresh designs.

But first, here's our beautiful Jillian, about to dive into the fun. Hi, Jillian!
Check out a few of our favorites below.

Let's start the day off right, with a little coffee, and get started!
Isn't that mug from Printable Wisdom so fun?!

And, here are some sweet and sassy treats from Curly Girl Design.
Lovely designs, from Curly Girl Design

And, my southern heart just swelled with love and pride at these next ones from Southern Fried Design Barn.
Heavens to Betsy, indeed!

And, a few winners of the Louie Award.
This platinum example from Good Paper.

And, these two clever designs from Elum Designs

I just love the color and typography of that last one. Perfect to give to your favorite cosmonaut!

And, I couldn't resist sharing this classy, yet fun wrapping ensemble!
From Fig 2 Design, this setup is sure to please the birthday girl or the sophisticated bride-to-be!
Well, that's all for now! I hope you're as inspired as we are and ready to share some love and good ol' craftiness!

Signing off, with a wish for a wonderful Wednesday for all, and one last creation from Fox and Fallow. A refreshing recipe for a relaxing cocktail. Who could ask for more?

{Wedding Wednesday} Black and Gold Gatsby-Inspired Wedding Invitations

There is something so classic about black and gold…it's chic and dramatic, and definitely making a resurgence. This couple wanted a Gatsby-inspired feel to their wedding invitations; something with a glamorous, vintage vibe that echoed the couple's style and the wedding's location.

We created something that channeled the Gatsby era but also feels fresh and modern. The gold glitter envelope liners give that extra touch of glam, and Jillian finished these envelopes with coordinating gold calligraphy, which you can see here.
Fabulous photos courtesy of Brian Leahy Photography and his fabulous skills at Hilary and Sam's Wedding Day

Love the simplicity and detail that went into the cocktail napkins to be cohesive with our elegant design.
Says so little but means so much!

The venue of Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica, California was absolutely stunning. It made the perfect back drop to make this wedding come to life. Glittering table scape, tall centerpieces of beautiful blush and white florals. It was a setting set for pure romance.
This cake is gorgeous enough to eat not just a slice, but the whole dang thing! Love, love love!
The elegance carried through with the fabulous beautiful bridal bouquet
that any bride would love to have!
Congrats Hilary and Sam! We are so happy for you both! May you always be as happy as you are in this very moment!

Seal it all with a fabulous kiss!
xoxo
