Last Week...

It's been a little quiet on the blog lately, and that's because the last few weeks have been filled with travel and inspiring ventures to fuel the year ahead. Most notably, we made our annual trip to the National Stationery Show in NYC…be still my heart :)

I thought I'd share some pics from the trip that were most inspiring and sparked lots of ideas for things to come!

First up, one of our favorites, Sugar Paper. How fun and gorgeous is this card? This was my favorite card from the trip.

Secondly, this birthday party-in-a-box by Tops Malibu…fabulous idea!

And I just loved these adorable little "Slip-Its"--notes you can slip to someone anytime, anywhere! These cuties were created by The Pink Orange.

These sweet notes by Paper Lovely express sentiments perfect for your significant other or even a bestie…they say, "We go together like…" with adorable pictures of PB&J, syrup & pancakes, ketchup & mustard, etc.

We also loved these bridal note pads and stationery sets by Cynla.

Last but definitely not least, one of the highlights of my trip was meeting the sweet Bonnie Marcus…she is such an inspiration, I just love her!

So those were a few highlights of the show, hope you enjoyed seeing some of my favorite items! I'm already looking forward to next year!

Have a fabulous weekend and we'll see you next week with more of our latest projects :)

{Frosting Friday} Fresh Tags and Signage for Toast

Hello 2 Hearts readers!

We're excited to share with you a project we've been working on for sometime now. We've had the great pleasure of working with Toast, the amazing Los Angeles bakery and cafe, to recreate some of their bakery tags, signage, and even their menu.

We'll be sharing more pictures as they come, but for now here are the new cake and candy tags we designed to refresh their look! :)

Their assortment of candy jars is amazing! (Sorry some of the pictures are slightly blurry).

The red gingham ribbon is the perfect touch to these jars!

They also carry a variety of other candies and treats...

How cute are these lemonade mixes?

Their baked bread is amazing...

As well as their cakes!

These adorable little rolling pins serve as holders for the cake flavor cards.

Mmmmm.

We couldn't be more excited to be working with such a wonderful bakery and cafe, especially since it happens to be one of our favorite places to visit! :)

Check it out for yourself next time you're near The Grove.

Happy Friday!

{Design} Colorful Rainbow Themed Parties

Hi there!

We hope you are having a fantastic week so far! We thought we'd bring a little (okay, a lot) of color to your day by showcasing two different colorful birthday parties we designed for recently.

First up, a sweet one year old birthday, where rainbows were the inspiration!

Look at those leggings! {Swoon}

We created the scalloped circle paper "1" to go on the cake, as well as the banner spelling out the birthday girl's name behind her.

The small cloud sign dangling from the banner says, "It's so fun to be one!"

Thank you to sweet Londyn and her family for including our details in her special day!

The second colorful birthday we designed for was a sweet Care Bear-themed 4th birthday.

The rainbow envelope liners really make this invitation pop!

The pocket enclosure held party information and a sweet treat for the guests :)

Thank you Mahtab and Azi for the joy of designing Azi's birthday invitations! :)

We had so much fun designing for these two sweet girls and their special days. Do you have a vision for a birthday party that you need help executing? Let us know, and we'd be happy to help!

Have a wonderful Wednesday :)

{Design} Birthday Cocktails

It's Friday y'all!

And that means it's time to kick up your heels (or your boots) and go have yourself a cocktail! :)

Don't the creations on this custom birthday cocktail sign look delish?

A good ol' fashioned mint julep might just be the ticket for this weekend!

Signature cocktails for a birthday celebration are a fun way to commemorate the evening--and so are cute signs like this one! The design is simple but it has a great visual effect on the bar counter. We love helping clients customize their party details to suit their style and personality.

So here's to you, fabulous 2 Hearts readers, and to a wonderful weekend!

Don't forget to treat your mama to something special this weekend too!

XOXO

{Design} Sweet 2nd Birthday Hello Kitty Invitations

Who would think that all of these funny-shaped stickers would come together to create the face of one of the cutest kitties around? :)

Well, they sure do, and that's exactly how we created these adorable Hello Kitty themed birthday invitations for sweet Ainsley!

Ainsley was turning two, and her sweet mama wanted to give her a Hello Kitty themed party…so we knew we had to set the tone in style! :)

The enclosure slipped on the invitation like a sleeve, so just the checked Hello Kitty-bow peeked out the top.

We created coordinating envelopes with a little birthday kitty announcing the news on the front! :)

And here is adorable Ainsley checking out her invitation! (I think she liked it! ;)

It's so fun creating birthday memories for the little ones in our life, isn't it? To see the joy on their face and the delight in their eyes when they realize we are having a party for them! :)

Let us know how we can help you make your little one's birthday special as well!

Have a great day!

{Logo Design} Amy Cohen's Campaign for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Woman of the Year

Near and dear to my heart is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, as I am a leukemia survivor. I have been in remission for 23 years now. I have been so very blessed as at my time of diagnosis, I was given six months left to live by doctors very best in their field. With family by my side, prayers to God's ear, a miracle was granted and I lived. When so many that I knew were not as fortunate because of this disease. I get to be the voice and the life that gets to live and dare to dream.
So, when a candidate for "Woman of the Year" was in need of a logo and brand to identify her team and campaign, I could hardly refuse. I felt as though it was a calling to put talents to good use.

Amy Cohen is a survivor of Lymphoma and
this marks her 5th year out from her stem cell transplant, and May 30th, her 52nd birthday, falls 1 day short of the end of this very important fundraiser that has become her calling. She went from barely walking to the end of her driveway to now hiking the Italian Alps, and living life to its very fullest. It is with joy and seemingly boundless energy that with strive, she's looking to raise as much money as possible for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Thanks to your generous support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, this is a new world. Hundreds of thousands of people diagnosed with blood cancer are today living normal, productive lives. Your money accelerates miraculous new treatments and healing therapies once thought impossible. Cures today. Not someday. That's the goal. And you are at the heart of it.

Donate today and have an immediate and lasting impact on the fight against blood cancer. Help Team Amy and her campaign to be Woman of the Year!
