{Frosting Friday} Frosty Margarita Bachelorette Party

In this post we'll show you how this "frosty" beverage inspired this frosted bachelorette party invitation.

Our client asked us to design a bachelorette party invitation for her sister. They would be celebrating on a margarita fiesta cruise...sounds like a blast right?

We wanted the invitation to set the tone for the occasion with bright, summery colors and an enticing theme. We used a turquoise enclosure and an anchor motif to represent the water/cruising aspect of the party. 

The cotton cord tying the enclosure also coordinated with the boating theme, as well as gave it a corset-y feel. The margarita-green card stock dipped in glitter "rock salt" evokes the margarita that was part of our inspiration.

The bright pink, green, and turquoise color scheme say summer fun while while the sparkly "salt" on the top makes me want a margarita! :)

Cruising, dancing, margaritas with the girls...this bachelorette party is sure to be a fabulous time!

Halloween Countdown

Happy Tuesday everyone!

As we countdown the days 'til Halloween, we've been rounding up some Halloween ideas that are sure to make your week spooktacular, whether you're throwing a haunting Halloween bash, taking the kids trick-or-treating, or simply staying cozy at home, handing out candy by the light of carved pumpkins.

First off, a trip down memory lane. Remember the spellbinding work we did for the ABC television show back in 2009?

Jillian created some magical parchment pieces that would be the perfect addition to any Halloween soiree.

And any Halloween haunt would not be complete without some tantalizing desserts.

I am loving this candy corn cheesecake mousse and these cupcakes in a jar (both by Glorious Treats)...

Welcome Fall

As I am writing this, the sun is shining and it's a beautiful 80 degrees.

While we might not be experiencing true fall weather yet here in Southern California, I certainly am getting inspired by the fall decor and yummy recipes I am seeing in stores, magazines, and in the blog world.
