We hope you are all having a spook-tacular day so far (sorry, couldn't resist ;) We are sooo excited to share with you our very first free printable today! The first of many to come!

{Frosting Friday} Black & White Halloween

Happy Friday 2 Hearts readers!

We really can't believe it's Friday, and that it's the middle of October; this month is just going too fast! We have some fun things in store for you next week on the blog, so stay tuned, and be sure to check back on Friday next week especially! ;)

We also wanted to remind you how fabulous custom cupcake toppers look at any get-together, and if you're planning a Halloween party (especially one geared toward adults), you may want to consider garnishing your sweets with these fabulous details. {Frosting Friday} Making Work Sweet

One of the things that is so interesting about our collaboration with Sweet E's is that we get introduced to new companies and corporations on a pretty regular basis.

For example, take these dessert box tags we created for a custom order for sbe.

Sweet E's was contacted to create these cupcake gift boxes, and we created the tags with the company's logo on it. sbe is a luxury lifestyle and entertainment company with quite the impressive list of clients--for more about sbe, visit here.

It's fun to think that we have a small part to play in the details of a company's special events. We imagine party goers, dressed to the nines and sipping champagne, picking up one of these boxes and admiring it's design...at least that's how it goes when we imagine it ;) If only we could be a fly on the wall at some of these occasions! ;)

What a great way gift to give to employees at a special luncheon or dinner, or to give to clients at an appreciation gathering. It's an effective way to incorporate your brand into the party details and to make a fun statement. Mixing work with sweets--what a fabulous idea!

{Baby Inspiration} He or She?

Hello 2 Hearts readers!

This morning we're sharing these sweet cupcake toppers and signage we did for a baby gender reveal party; and we felt it very appropriate since the "Great Kate Wait" continues this week!

If you've been following the royal baby news then you know Kate Middleton is due any day now!

Some say she could even be in her final hours before the baby arrives....we'll just have to wait and see!

We are in LOVE with the ice cream theme of all the desserts. I love how they used sprinkles as filler to hold up the cupcake cones on the right.

And the adorable birthday sprinkle cake pops in front are adorned with our scalloped cake pop tags!

{Frosting Friday} Easter Sweets

With Easter coming next weekend (can you believe it?), we've been thinking about our Easter dinner menu and tablescape details. While all of those details are important,
you know what we're really focusing on....dessert of course!

No special dinner would be complete without something deliciously sweet to finish the meal!

Sweet Finales

This one's for all you Bachelor fans out there.

With tonight being the finale of ABC's The Bachelor, we thought it was appropriate to break out this photo we have from last year's Teen Choice Awards event.

Yep, that's Bachelor host Chris Harrison, lookin' sharp next to a Sweet E's mini cupcake and cake pop, which happens to be embellished with one of our custom tags.

I know, I know...you may think it a bit silly that we're excited about our little tag popping up next to Chris, but c'mon, after watching 10+ seasons of The Bachelor, it kind of delights us :)

And we may be holding our own Bachelor finale party tonight, cupcakes and all, waiting with eager anticipation to find out which woman the handsome bachelor Sean Lowe chooses....

We Heart Color :: Emerald Envy

As many of you know, Pantone's Color of the Year for 2013 is Emerald.

These are the words used by Pantone to describe this rich tone, and we couldn't agree more.

Every time we think of this color, it evokes images of striking jewels, rich silk, and lush countryside.

It's not just showing up in fashion and home decor, but in wedding details as well.

And against shades of gold and platinum, it's dramatically delicious.

If you pass by a Sephora window right now, and you'll see this dramatic color gracing the faces and nails of the models in the display.

In celebration of this bold hue having it's moment of glory, we thought we'd share a few of our projects that feature this energizing color:

One of our sweet clients had us create a scrapbook for her husband's birthday, and the lighter shade of green helped make photos and captions pop.

Mix emerald with zebra print for fun party details. These custom toppers adorned delicious cupcakes for a client's 40th birthday bash

Emerald and any variation of purple (eggplant, violet, etc.) is a classic combination, and is displayed down to the favors for this celebration.

And finally, one of our favorite invitation suites blends shades of emerald, silver, and chocolate for a combination that's elegant and fresh.

I Do Bridal Show 2013

We are excited to share pics with you today from the I Do Bridal Show
we participated in last weekend. Thank you Christine from Fancy That! for inviting us to be a part of your dynamic show. It was a joy to be associated in good company and enjoy a wonderful day of food, fun, friends, vendors, brides, beauty, love and sharing our joy for sweets, creativity and paper!

The show was held at the Langham Huntington Hotel in beautiful Pasadena, California
in their grand ballroom. What a spectacular event!

How cute is this check-in table? We fell in LOVE with it!

The show was filled with beautiful inspiration, confections, and sights to dazzle the eyes and senses. We are so happy with the images Duke Photography captured of our table.

We utilized our table to showcase our calligraphy, custom tags, cupcake toppers, signage, thank you notes, and of course, wedding invitations.

This gorgeous cake (along with the cupcakes) was created by our friend Mahtab of My Little Cupcake Bakery. Just like how we can take your vision and put it on to paper, Mahtab can put your vision into cake! She has some creative delicious flavors. You're in for a treat with this bakery. My personal favorite is her coconut cake with caramel filling.
