{Design} Colorful Rainbow Themed Parties

Hi there!

We hope you are having a fantastic week so far! We thought we'd bring a little (okay, a lot) of color to your day by showcasing two different colorful birthday parties we designed for recently.

First up, a sweet one year old birthday, where rainbows were the inspiration!

Look at those leggings! {Swoon}

We created the scalloped circle paper "1" to go on the cake, as well as the banner spelling out the birthday girl's name behind her.

The small cloud sign dangling from the banner says, "It's so fun to be one!"

Thank you to sweet Londyn and her family for including our details in her special day!

The second colorful birthday we designed for was a sweet Care Bear-themed 4th birthday.

The rainbow envelope liners really make this invitation pop!

The pocket enclosure held party information and a sweet treat for the guests :)

Thank you Mahtab and Azi for the joy of designing Azi's birthday invitations! :)

We had so much fun designing for these two sweet girls and their special days. Do you have a vision for a birthday party that you need help executing? Let us know, and we'd be happy to help!

Have a wonderful Wednesday :)

{Event Details} Mr. C Beverly Hills Styled Shoot

Hello there!

On Monday we gave you this sneak peek photo of a styled shoot we did at Mr. C Beverly Hills

{Photo courtesy of Best Coast Photo}

Well today, we're bringing you more gorgeous photos and details about this shoot! We had the pleasure of designing all of the stationery for this shoot, including the menus, place cards, and table numbers. From the incredible location to the elegant table settings, we think you'll love the dreamy details!

All of the beautiful photos are by Best Coast Photo, and the shoot was styled by First Pick Planning.

These gorgeous centerpieces are by the talented Sarah Coplen of Truly Fancy.

Table numbers were written in calligraphy by Jillian.

Guests' names were written in calligraphy by Jillian as well.

This amazing gilded cake was created by Andrea Boudewijn of Superfine Bakery…stunning!

Amazing views from Mr. C Beverly Hills!

Our save the date corresponds with the modern vintage feel of the shoot.

And so does the invitation!

Menus and welcome notes matted with a patterned card stock can be customized to any style or color palette, and instantly tie in your colors to the table.

We love love love the images from this shoot!

A big thank you to Best Coast Photo for capturing the day so beautifully, and to First Pick Planning for coordinating it all!

And thank you to the other amazing vendors who contributed their talents and skills to make this shoot possible!

{Calligraphy Monday} M&M Bat Mitzvah Details

Happy Monday everyone!

We hope you had a splendid weekend, and are refreshed for a new week ahead! In case you're needing a little boost this morning, we've got a little sugar rush for you, in the way of an M&M themed bat mitzvah! :)

We decided to play off the sweet 13 year old's initials, and create a theme that is fun, modern, and girly all at the same time.

Envelopes got the glitter treatment with a hot pink glitter liner

The opposite side of the invitation also got a dose of sparkle on the "m"

The finishing touch…sweet as can be!

We also had fun with the party details for the bat mitzvah, like these place cards:
We used a glittery pink flower motif on matte white card stock, then Jillian wrote each guest's name in hot pink…fab!

The table numbers also brought a touch of sparkle to each table:

Hot pink numbers were printed on white card stock, then embellished with a glittery flower as well.

What 13 year old girl wouldn't love this glittery & sweet pink party theme?
Thank you to Nicole and Michelle for letting us be a part of your special day! :)

Hope you have a sweet Monday!

{Calligraphy Monday} Silver & Gray

Good morning 2 Hearts readers!

Here's a place card we created recently for a New Year's Eve party:

We used a shimmery gray card stock for the tented place card, then a shimmer white card stock for the top portion. Jillian wrote each guest's name in calligraphy, and adorned it with tiny pearls. The silvery ribbon detail is reminiscent of confetti and gives the place cards a celebratory feel.

These place cards would be gorgeous for a special occasion this winter, whether it's a rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, or even a special birthday. We love shades of silver and gray in January, and adding small embellishments like silvery ribbon or pearls gives it that pop of sparkle!

What festive events are you planning this month?

{Event Details} One Thousand Gifts + Custom Tags

Hello lovely readers!

There were so many amazing projects we got to work on in 2013, and we are still catching up on sharing them with you! For example, we had the privilege of helping our friend Courtney create custom tags and signage for some women's ministry events at her church.

Last year, the women in her church read One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp (such a great book!) and held a beautiful event at the close of the study. Tables were set with candles, lovely centerpieces, and journals and the women were treated to a beautiful time of refreshment.

(All photos below are courtesy of Courtney)

Tags were tied to pretty turquoise bird cages as centerpiece displays.

We didn't create this banner, but we thought it was a cute addition to the decor!

Courtney let us know that the event was a success, and we were so happy to be a part of it!
We also created some tags for another event coordinated by Courtney:

Tags like these can be customized to any special event or gathering that you're hosting, and shows your attention to detail. Small details always make an event feel thought-out, planned, and special.

Thank you Courtney for allowing us to help you put these special touches on your events! We always love the opportunity, and it's an honor to work with you :)

And let us know how we can help you take your event to the next level by making it more personalized and special!

Have a fabulous Wednesday :)
