Hello, and Happy July! 

Here in the States, we're just coming back from celebrating our Nation's birthday, as well as getting in the mood for summer. 

We thought we'd spend some time looking at some patriotic and summer inspiration, while celebrating our love for, well...love!

 These creative snack crates are so evocative of summer for me! Doesn't it just make you think of strolling through the summer fair. The caramel corn cones and the pinwheels! Perfection. 

Pair with some fresh lemonade, and you have a party.

{Frosting Friday} Royal & Sweet Birthday Card

Hi there and Happy Friday!

Ahhh, Fridays are the best, aren't they? Especially in the midst of school commitments, work, football games, errands, and everything else you have going on in the fall, there's just a sense of relief when Friday arrives.

Today we're sharing one of the cards we designed for our friends at Sweet E's Bake Shop. It's a sweet birthday card with a fun, embellished, 3D cupcake on the front :)

These can be found in the shop, along with many other designs that we've created--and will be sharing on the blog in the weeks to come. So stay tuned, and also stop by Sweet E's to see the selection! And don't forget to pick up a sweet treat of course while you're there! ;)

And if your week has been especially busy or hectic this week, then this sentiment goes out to you too, even if it's not your birthday--you deserve the royal treatment! Take some time this weekend to get a pedicure, read a magazine while sipping your favorite latte, or simply put your feet up and take in the beautiful weather. Whatever you do, take some time to relax and enjoy!

{Frosting Friday} Sesame Street-Themed Dessert Table Signage

Hi there!

Today we're showcasing some adorable dessert table signage we did for a client throwing a Sesame Street-themed birthday party. How fun! The desserts from the party were provided by Sweet E's Bake Shop, so  you can imagine how cute they were. 

These were more than just your average tented card…to really give them the Sesame Street vibe, we made tiny signs saying "Happy Birthday Jax!" to pop out of the card. We love the effect!

While we didn't get any photos of the actual party, we found a super cute Sesame Street dessert table on Pinterest that would've been a beautiful setting for our signage!

{Frosting Friday} Mason Jar Love

Happy Friday 2 Hearts readers!

As you may recall us telling you, our friends at Sweet E's Bake Shop moved locations not too long ago. With the move, Sweet E's has introduced some new {delicious} additions to their shop!

In addition to their decadent array of cupcakes, bars, and cookies...

They now carry adorably delicious treats-in-a-jar!

Look at how adorable all of these new treats are! Here we have your "Cowgirl Cookie" mix:

Then your "Chocolate Chip Cookies" in a jar:

And your "Fugdy Chocolate Chip Brownies" in a jar:

They are almost too cute for words! What a fun gift this would be for anyone who loves sweets or likes to bake. We loved designing the tags for these cuties!

Here's a photo of one of the mason jar displays in the shop {with a sign designed by yours truly}…and all of these jars are filled with tiny decorated cookies!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We thought today would be the perfect day to share some photos from Sweet E's new shop, and show you the Valentine's Day signage we had the pleasure of creating for their sweet displays!

{Frosting Friday} Making Work Sweet

One of the things that is so interesting about our collaboration with Sweet E's is that we get introduced to new companies and corporations on a pretty regular basis.

For example, take these dessert box tags we created for a custom order for sbe.

Sweet E's was contacted to create these cupcake gift boxes, and we created the tags with the company's logo on it. sbe is a luxury lifestyle and entertainment company with quite the impressive list of clients--for more about sbe, visit here.

It's fun to think that we have a small part to play in the details of a company's special events. We imagine party goers, dressed to the nines and sipping champagne, picking up one of these boxes and admiring it's design...at least that's how it goes when we imagine it ;) If only we could be a fly on the wall at some of these occasions! ;)

What a great way gift to give to employees at a special luncheon or dinner, or to give to clients at an appreciation gathering. It's an effective way to incorporate your brand into the party details and to make a fun statement. Mixing work with sweets--what a fabulous idea!

As signs of spring blossom around us, it's a time of fresh starts. It's a time to remember our blessings and rejoice in the hope that is new every morning.

With Easter coming next weekend (can you believe it?), we've been thinking about our Easter dinner menu and tablescape details. While all of those details are important,
you know what we're really focusing on....dessert of course!

No special dinner would be complete without something deliciously sweet to finish the meal!
