Say Thanks

I am in the process of creating a friend's/client's thank you cards for their wedding coming up in Cancun. I had the joy of creating their paper products. It's nice when one just trusts you enough to do what you love to and create what makes you think of them. I did just that. I thought it would be nice to create different designs that way the couple doesn't get bored writing their thank you's to their guests. Doing this job made me think about how the joy of receiving a hand written note to say thanks means so much. Gratitude in a handwritten note is a lost art in the world of technology of emails and texts. We should get back to that.

Long Overdue

My new venture has been the world of calligraphy and the beauty of handwriting. I've had the joy in writing out addresses on envelopes, writing out love letters, and names for place cards.
The greatest thrill I have had recently was a job that I got hired to do by the magazine, Allure, where I got to calligraphy the big names of Hollywood. "A" list celebrities and top designers for a party honoring Victoria Beckham. Wouldn't that be a great event to crash at?
